We recently let Edmunds, a CarMax company, know their ads were appearing on a small disinformation outlet called American Pigeon. This is what we do all day, everyday. We inform advertisers when their ads are ending up in places they don't want to be.

Here's what happened the very next day: American Pigeon published an open letter declaring "war" on Check My Ads. The letter was signed by writers from high-profile disinformation outlets — including The Post Millennial, Human Events and Rebel News.

Why would this crew of bigots and fear-mongers come running to defend a tiny outlet with just a few thousand followers? Because they know that when they lose advertising dollars, they lose the power to line their pockets by spouting hate and bigotry.
